Zelda: Breath of the Wild Story Trailers
Nintendo has been pretty light on story details for Breath of the Wild, but what we have seen lets us piece some things together. The very first trailer for the title at E3 2014 gave us a glimpse of the game’s gorgeous art style, along with Link battling a Guardian. Since then, new trailers here and there has given us looks at more of the world and characters. It all culminates with the epic trailer we saw at Nintendo’s Switch presentation this January.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Combat Trailers
At last year’s E3 Nintendo went all out, giving us hours of footage to watch for Breath of the Wild. One of the segments focused specifically on how weapons and combat will work in the new game. We also got another glimpse of some gameplay at The Game Awards, in a quick Let’s Play video.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Exploration Trailers
Most of the gameplay we’ve seen for Breath of the Wild so far has revolved around exploration, and boy does the game’s world look gorgeous. It’s an expansive world, unlike anything seen in a Zelda game yet. There is, of course, some combat, cooking, and crafting mixed in as well. At E3 2016 we were shown practically hours of footage of Link exploring the hills and cliffs of Hyrule, all of which you can feast your eyes on below.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Puzzle Trailers
Holding with series tradition, puzzles play a huge role in Breath of the Wild. In addition to traditional dungeons, you’ll find a number of smaller Shrines containing more focused puzzles. At E3 2016, Nintendo gave an extensive look at a massive series of ruins called the “Shrine of Trials.”
Zelda: Breath of the Wild Interviews
Nintendo has conducted a few different interviews with Breath of the Wild’s producer Eiji Aonuma, giving a little more context on the game. Shigeru Miyamoto had a segment at E3 2016 where he talked about how Breath of the Wild uses inspirations from the very first Zelda on the NES. Additionally, Nintendo Minute ran a couple segments with Aonuma himself.
