Nintendo Switch July 2017 Releases

Nintendo continues to keep up its streak of releasing at least one major game for the Switch each month as this July sees the launch of Splatoon 2. The original Splatoon was released on the Wii U a few years back, and though not many expected it, the game saw quite a bit of success and spawned a dedicated fan base. The highly anticipated sequel will be dropping on Nintendo’s new console this month.

Aside from the headlining title for July, there are a couple other games to look forward to as well. Death Squared is a new puzzle game that can be played with up to three other players. Your goal is to guide a robot to a safe point while avoiding traps in your path.

And for those who want to play an action game on their Switch, Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star will be ported over to the console this month. This action game has players unleash fun combos and moves in intense battles, whether on the ground or in the sky.

If none of this month’s releases appeal to you, be sure to check out last month’s games.
