Marvel Studios has just released a brand new Captain Marvel Cast Featurette. This new video features clips of the film’s cast and crew discussing the passion that makes the upcoming movie and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole great.
In the featurette, the President of Marvel Studios and Producer on Captian Marvel Kevin Feige says that “actors like to play in the Marvel Studios sandbox.” This statement is supported by the various interview clips from the film’s cast.
Jude Law describes the opportunity to be in the MCU as “being invited to a party, but you know you’re in good company.” Actress Gemma Chan similarly says that she “was over the moon” when she found out who else was going to be in Captian Marvel.
While the new video primarily focuses on the people who made the film, it also includes some exciting clips from the movie cut in between the interviews. Footage of Brie Larson in costume using her character’s various powers helps to punctuate the points being made by the interviewees.
The featurette is well worth watching for any Marvel fans who want a small peek behind the scenes of Captian Marvel. In particular, the video does a great job showing the commitment that the cast and crew had to the project and their desire to make a memorable film.
Captain Marvel releases in the US on March 8 and stars Brie Larson, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Gemma Chan, and Annette Bening.
