As you venture into each of the Grand Tomes in Yooka-Laylee, you’ll have the chance to find a Play Coin. If you’re wanting to collect all 25 Pagies in each of these worlds, you’ll definitely want to make finding all of the Play Coins a priority. Here’s how to get them and what they do in Yooka-Laylee.

In each of Yooka-Laylee’s Grand Tomes, you’ll be able to find Rextro the arcade game loving T-Rex with one of his games at the ready. Fortunately for us, he’s also got a Pagie that he’ll give you for beating the high score. Of course, just like real life arcades, you’ll need to put a coin into the machine. That’s where Play Coins come into play.

To find Play Coins in Yooka-Laylee, you’re just going to have to get adventuring around. What we can tell you, however, is that the Play Coin in Tribalstack Tropics is literally right below him. In the ditch that you race the cloud through, you’ll find a passage branching off of it that leads towards where Rextro is. Simply head down here and the Play Coin will be waiting for you at the end. Take it to Rextro, beat the game a couple times, ensuring you smash the high score on the second go, and you’ll get that all-important Pagie.
