Yakuza Kiwami 2 sees the return of Kiryu once more, this time with the power of the Dragon game engine to bring the classic story of Yakuza 2 to the current generation of consoles. While you’ll be fighting your way through bad games and exploring the city of Kamurocho, sometimes you’ll need to take a break. Even tough guys like Kiryu can’t build Rome in a day. As such, you may be wondering what you need to know to save your game. Here’s exactly what you need to know to do just that in Yakuza Kiwami 2.

In order to save your progress in Yakuza Kiwami 2, you’ll simply need to press the Options button on your PS4 controller to open up the main menu. From here, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of this menu and select the ‘Save’ option. Once it’s confirmed and you’re returned back to the Options menu, you’re all set to back out of Yakuza Kiwami 2, knowing your progress has successfully been saved.

Of course, due to just how compelling Yakuza Kiwami 2 is, you may completely forget to even save your game every once in a while to ensure you don’t have to retrace a ton of your steps if something goes wrong. That’s why the game also gives you the option to save in between its chapters. Though we didn’t have any particular issues with the game freezing or crashing during our time with it for our review, it’s always best to get into the habit of saving your game regularly, just on the off chance your console or game has a hiccup.

That’s all you need to know to save your game in Yakuza Kiwami 2. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
