How Long it Takes to Beat Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of the most expansive games on Nintendo Switch, with a huge main story that takes nearly 70 hours to complete and a whole plethora of side content to dive into. It’s still one of the strongest JRPGs on the system, and since its release in Dec. 2017, developer Monolith Soft has diligently updated the game and added more content. The biggest addition yet is now here, though, with the standalone story expansion Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna – The Golden Age. Torna takes place 500 years before the start of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, telling the story of Addam and the other heroes that fought against Malos, the main villain of the game, in the past. Of course, if you’re considering jumping into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna, you’re probably wondering just how long it might take you to beat the expansion.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna, despite being an expansion, has a pretty lengthy story to uncover. However, there’s also a huge emphasis put on sidequests, and the story will even gate your progress at a couple points until you complete enough sidequests. If you’re just looking to mainline the story, you can complete Torna in roughly 14-18 hours. Taking time to explore and complete sidequests can bump that time up to 30 plus, depending on how much you do.

Our own playthrough of Xenoblae Chronicles 2 Torna took around 25 hours. We completed a good amount more than the required sidequests, and also took a good amount of time to explore and defeat dangerous monsters. After you complete Torna, you’ll also have the option of starting a New Game Plus, letting you get an advantage for a fresh new playthrough.

That’s all you need to know about how long Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna takes to beat. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the expnasion and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, make sure to search Twinfinite.
