Xenoblade Chronicles 2 File Download Size

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch today, and if you’re planning to get the game digitally, you’re going to want to know just how much space you need on your system to download the full title.

According to the Nintendo eShop listing, the game weighs in at 13 GB. This means that you can download the game to your console without a micro SD card. If you already have other indie games stored on your system, however, you might have to delete a few of them to make some space for this hefty open world RPG. The download size shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to players, as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild required 13.4 GB of space as well. That should give you a rough idea of just how big the game is, and how much content has been crammed into it.

But of course, if you don’t have enough space on your console to download the game, you can always get the physical version. You’d simply have to insert the cartridge in your console, and you’ll be able to play it straight without having to install anything.
