Star Wars: Andor Story Explained

The storyline of Star Wars: Andor is about Cassian Andor’s journey during the beginning of the Rebellion. At this point, the Empire continues to grow in power and threaten innocent lives around the galaxy. Because of these heinous attacks, Luthen Rael seeks to recruit Cassian and others for an organized rebel plan to fight against the evil organization.

Due to Andor’s dark past and frustration with the ongoing battle, he eventually agrees to this proposal in hopes of bringing down the Empire. Furthermore, fans can get a deeper outlook on information mentioned in Rogue One, where Cassian briefly talks about his childhood and the terrible things he’s done for the sake of the Rebellion.

Timeline of Andor

The timeline of Andor takes place five years before the events of A New Hope. The prequel series’ main purpose is to give the fans additional storylines from the early years of the Rebellion and how it shaped the fate of the entire galaxy.
