How to Get More CP in Valkyria Chronicles 4

Recommended Videos

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the latest entry in Sega’s popular tactical RPG franchise. Just like in past games, this one makes use of a beautiful watercolor palette and aesthetic to lend the game a unique look. It follows a new squad and cast of characters in a story set during the Second European War, so fans of the first game will get to witness events unfold from a different perspective. Also similar to previous entries in the series, Valkyria Chronicles 4 makes use of the CP system, which determines how many moves and actions your units can take. Here’s what you need to know about getting more CP in the game.

First off, you’ll always start with a set amount of CP at the beginning of each battle. However, if you have leader characters in your active squad, you can increase that number. For instance, characters like Kai, Raz, Riley, and basically anyone with a CP symbol next to their name in Valkyria Chronicles 4 are considered leaders. If they’re in your party, your starting number of CP will increase by one. Each time you use a character in battle, your CP count for that turn drops by one, and it’ll refresh during your next turn.

However, it’s also important to note that if one of your leader characters falls in battle in Valkyria Chronicles 4, you’ll lose the extra CP that they gave you. This can be counteracted by saving those units and redeploying them in battle once more. This will force you to spend extra moves and actions, though, so be careful about protecting your leader characters and preventing them from getting knocked out.

And that’s pretty much all you need to know about getting more moves and CP in the game. Be sure to check our wiki for more tips and information about Valkyria Chronicles 4.
