Can You Get an Undercity Plaguebat? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

In World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth you may see Horde players riding a pretty impressive looking mount. One of the most recent mounts released in the game is the Undercity Plaguebat. This mount is a gigantic bat that makes it home in the catacombs beneath Lordaeron. While it totes the same speed as other flying mounts, it is physically imposing and a great mount to have in your collection.

During the Siege of Lordaeron the Horde desperately tried to defend the Undercity from an attack by the Alliance. During this battle, the Alliance got incredibly close to defeating Warchief Sylvanas, but once they had her cornered she unleashed massive amounts of blight, making all of Lordaeron uninhabitable. The survivors of the battle fled from the city on the backs of Undercity Plaguebats. Now, you may be wondering where you can find this mount in game.

Well, unfortunately the Undercity Plaguebat was a limited time mount that could only be picked up during the pre-patch for Battle for Azeroth. That means that there isn’t actually a way to get this mount in game at this time. The Undercity Plaguebat was awarded to players that took part in the Siege of Lordaeron quest chain leading up to the events of Battle for Azeroth and will not be making a return any time soon.
