As you’d expect, taking on a ton of the undead and destroying Plague Hearts doesn’t always go to plan in State of Decay 2. From time to time, your characters will take a bit of a beating and will have trauma and injury status’ that can affect how they play. This can be a real issue during the early stages of the game, so chances are you’re probably wondering how to cure trauma and injuries in State of Decay 2.

To simply restore health in State of Decay 2, this can be done with bandages, painkillers, or first aid kits. Injuries will drop the max health of a character until they’re remedied, and so you’ll need first aid kits or an Infirmary to help get these fixed up. One first aid kit fixes up to three injuries, so keep this in mind before using one.

Trauma can similarly be cured with a first aid kit or at an infirmary, but there’s a much better way you can keep your survivors healthy in State of Decay 2.

What you’ll want to do to keep your survivors happier and healthier in the game is to build an Infirmary and upgrade it as early as possible to Infirmary 2. Doing so will enable any characters resting at home to regain health, recover from trauma, and any injuries.

That’s all you need to know to cure trauma and injuries in State of Decay 2. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
