Sims 4 Seasons: How to Change the Weather

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a weatherman or weathergirl, this Sims 4 tip will be perfect for ya!

How to Change the Weather in Sims 4 Seasons

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4 Seasons finally gives the players what they want: weather! Your sims will need to get their coats and bathing suits out and ready for some fun in the differing seasons. But, of course, some fans might be wondering how to manipulate the skies themselves. Maybe you don’t want to deal with Summer? Maybe Winter just bogs you down? Have no fear, it’s easy to control the weather right from within the game, without any cheats!

You’ll need to first buy your sim family the new item, Dr. June’s Weather Control Device. It’s 1,500 simoleons and will allow you to flat out change the weather to anything. You’ll be able to choose from rain, hot, heatwave, cold, cloudy skies, clear skies, blizzard, thunderstorm, and snow. No need to be some special scientist, anyone can buy this contraption and play God.

There are some options available within the in-game menu, too. You need to head over to the Options and then select the Seasons tab. These are minor, though, as they let you choose between either having snow, blizzards, rain, thunderstorms, or any combination of all of them. You can also choose to disable the temperature effects for sims, too.

That’s all there is to changing the weather without the use of cheats in The Sims 4 Seasons. If you need any more help with the game, let us know down below or use our search bar to find something yourself.
