In The Sims 4 Cottage Living, your Sims can own a few different farm animals. They will be able to bond with their new animal companions via some interactions. One way to make your Sims’ furry friends happy or encourage them to produce a certain type of animal product is to feed them treats. This can also change an animal’s color!
There are a couple different ways you can obtain the treats necessary for your animals, and we’re here to show you how. This guide will explain how to change your animals’ colors in The Sims 4 Cottage Living.
Changing Animal Colors in Sims 4 Cottage Living
There is more than one way to get treats for your animals. The first way starts with having your Sim visit the Finchwick district in Henford-on-Bagley.
Your Sim needs to then make their way over to Agnes and Agatha’s garden stall near the pub. From there you can choose to purchase “Garden Shop Items” and mouse over to the “Animals” section of the shop menu. You can purchase any treat you’d like from here!
Another way to obtain treats for your animals is to take part in the Finchwick Fair and win. This happens every Saturday, so be sure to prepare your Sims!

If your Sim has bought or won treats before and fed them to their animals, they will be able to make the treats themselves. We’ve compiled all the recipes for you so you don’t have to go out of your way to find out how to make the treat of your companion’s dreams.
