Here’s everything you need to know to redeem preorder bonus DLC and how to get your items, including the War Horse in Red Dead Redemption 2.

How to Redeem Preorder DLC Codes on Xbox One and PS4

If you preordered a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll have a preorder DLC code entitling you to the War Horse, and The Outlaw Survival Kit.

The War Horse has considerably better stamina and speed than your average horse in the game, while the Outlaw Survival Kit contains a bunch of consumable supplies to replenish health, your Dead Eye meter, and more.

In order to redeem your preorder DLC code for Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll need to head to your preferred platform’s online storefront. On PS4, you’re then going to go to the bottom of the menu column on the left of the screen, select Redeem Code, and enter it as you would any other.

For Xbox One users, you’re going to select the Use a Code option and enter it, too.

Confirm that you want to redeem the Red Dead Redemption 2 preorder DLC bonuses, and now you’re all set to go ahead and get your content in-game.

How to Get Your Preorder DLC Items & War Horse in Red Dead Redemption 2
