At boutiques found in every city, simply approach the cashier and select the tops, jackets, pants, dress (for the female Trainers), socks, shoes, cap, glasses and gloves you want to put together. After you’ve purchased the clothes, go to the fitting room and customize your outfit.

If you thought you had to keep your jacket on throughout the entire time, fret not. Simply press the A button to slip it off. This way, you can see the design of your shirts.

When you go to the salon — so far, only two salons have been found in Motostoke and Hammerlocke — not only can you change your hairstyle and hair color, but you can also change your makeup and eye contacts, which now have more color options than in previous Pokemon games. And for the first time ever, you can choose patterns to make your Trainers pop out more, no pun intended.

Here’s a full set of eye colors and patterns to choose from.
