How to Evolve Feebas – Pokemon Moon

Recommended Videos

If you’re playing Pokemon Moon and hoping to evolve a Feebas into Milotic, you may have a bit of a time commitment ahead of you. This evolution will not only require you obtain a rare Feebas, but also that you find the proper evolution item to give it.

How to Get a Feebas

You’ll be able to find one in Brooklet Hill. Once you head there and complete your Water Trial, you’ll be awarded a Fishing Rod. Now for the fun part: you’ll need to fish around Brooklet Hill until you reel in the rare Feebas. Their rate of appearance can be pretty low, but is higher if you’re fishing from special, bubbling fishing spots. We recommend heading to the second to last zone of Brooklet Hill, fishing the special spot, heading South, zoning out and back into the location, and then fishing the special spot (which has now respawned) again. Eventually, you’ll have yourself a Feebas.

How to Get a Prism Scale

Feebas only evolves when traded while holding a Prism Scale. This can be obtained in the Exeggutor Island area of the last island (Poni Island), or fished up, though the latter happens very rarely. Some players report finding the Scale in fishing spots around Tapu village.

With both a Feebas and Prism Scale in hand, you have all the mixings for a proper Milotic.
