The recent Gen 2 Pokemon GO update brought with it a slew of changes, from new Pokemon to ability adjustments. There are over 80 new entries in the Pokedex to discover, new evolution items used to evolve certain Pokemon, and changes to the power and cost of some abilities. We also got two new berries, one of which is the banana-like Nanab Berry. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get Nanab Berries, and what they do.

How to Get Nanab Berries

First up, getting a Nanab Berry isn’t too hard. You simply collect them from Poke Stops, as you would with Razz Berries. Their appearance is a little rarer than that of other items, so with a little patience and a few Stops, you should have yourself one in no time.

What Nanab Berries Do

Using a Nanab Berry while trying to catch a Pokemon will slow it down, making it easier to catch. While this may not be as exciting as the new Pinap Berry, which doubles candy gained after a successful catch, it still can be of use when trying to nab rarer or higher CP level Pokemon.

That’s all there is to know about this berry. For more Pokemon GO tips, guides, and info, stay tuned to Twinfinite.
