NieR: Automata – New Game Plus

After beating NieR: Automata for the first time, you’ll get Ending A, as well as the opportunity to save your game. You’ll want to save your data as this will allow you to start a second playthrough with all your levels and equipment intact. To start a second run (which will be slightly different from your first), simply load up your cleared save file to start. The same goes for your third playthrough, which is required to get the game’s third ending.

After you’ve beaten the game three times and have seen at least one of the last three available endings, save your game again. This save file will now give you access to the Chapter Select function and the Debug Room. The Chapter Select function lets you jump to any point in the story that you’ve unlocked. The menu will also indicate your current quest progression in the game. Your side mission progression will carry over to subsequent playthroughs, so you don’t have to redo any of the ones you’ve already completed.

The Debug Room is a cool feature that lets you spawn enemies in a room, letting you test and hone your combat skills.

That’s all you need to do to start new game plus in Nier: Automata. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on NieR: Automata.
