How to Get Sleep Herb Fast in Monster Hunter World

Recommended Videos

As per Monster Hunter tradition, Monster Hunter World has a ton of different items and tools that you can craft for your adventure. Of course, in order to do this there’s plenty of different resources and items you’ll need to gather along the way. One particularly useful item is the Sleep Herb, one of the main components needed when making Tranq Bombs, which are used for capturing monsters.

The best place to farm for Sleep Herb in Monster Hunter World is in the Wildspire Waste. Travel to the area and open up your map, in Section 4 you should see a small blue plant icon. Head to where the icon is and loot the plant, which should result in you getting your hands on Sleep Herb. You can grind away at these items by waiting for this point to respawn and then going and looting it again.

Alternatively, if you want to cut down on the grinding a little bit you can cultivate Sleep Herbs with the botanist in Astera, your main base. Hand one of the items over to the botanist, and get your hands on some fertilizer. By doing this you’ll be able to accumulate Sleep Herb more quickly, but just make sure you’ve got that fertilizer handy. It may take a while to get as many of the herb as you want, but whenever you find your stock running low just use these tips and you’ll be able to nab a few for those valuable Tranq Bombs.
