Warzone and Modern Warfare’s long awaited season 4 has finally launched, following a week long delay. Alongside new weapons and in-game events, a new mode has been added to the playlist rotation. So that you can try it out, here’s everything you need to know about how to play Warzone Team Deathmatch in Modern Warfare.
The mode, known as Warzone Rumble, is a bit more straightforward than the typical battle royale affair. It sees two teams of 50 players fight in a small area of the Verdansk map and the winning team is the first one to 400 kills.
You can choose between any of your loadouts, respawn just as you would in Modern Warfare’s standard multiplayer, and the action is just about shooting; there are no contracts, bundles of cash, or moving zones to worry about.
It’s a fun way to learn some areas of Warzone’s map, try out new weapons without affecting your stats, or even level up guns.
How to Play Warzone Team Deathmatch in Modern Warfare
Once you’ve loaded up the Warzone section of Modern Warfare, you will see Warzone Rumble at the top of the playlist on the initial lobby menu page.
To play it, simply select that tile, which you can see in the screenshot below, and wait for the game to load up.
Do note though that Warzone Team Deathmatch isn’t necessarily a permanent fixture of the Modern Warfare playlist. As Infinity Ward often does with new modes, they’ll probably cycle it in and out throughout Season 4, introducing new modes for players to try out.
If it’s not at the top of the page, check the other ones down below, and if it’s not there, it has probably been removed for now. Just keep your fingers crossed that it’ll make a reappearance at some point.
