How to Level Up Squadmates in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Like in previous games, Mass Effect Andromeda allows your allies to level up along with the protagonist. As Ryder earns experience points and levels up in the game, so too will your squadmates. This means that they can also earn skill points, albeit at a slightly slower rate than Ryder.

To purchase and unlock skills for your squadmates, simply bring up your main menu and go to the Skills option. The top three options (Combat, Biotics, and Tech) are for Ryder, but the ones below are for your squadmates. Each squadmate comes packed with their own individual skill trees, so click on them to see the ones that are available. From here, you can spend their individual skill points to unlock skills for them, and they’ll be able to use them in battle. As your squadmates gain skill points as Ryder levels up, you’ll want to check on their skill trees whenever Ryder gains a new level and help them get stronger.

Now that you know how to level up squadmates, feel free to sound off in the comments if you have any questions about the game.
