How to Play Co-op With Friends in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Recommended Videos

If you want to take a break from the main campaign of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, consider engaging in some co-op campaigns with a friend instead. The game doesn’t have any online multiplayer functionality, but there are five co-op campaigns that you can play via local co-op, in both TV and tabletop mode.

You’ll unlock the first campaign after clearing the first world in the game, Ancient Greens. Go back to Peach’s castle, and you’ll be notified that the Buddy Dome has been constructed. Head over, and you’ll be able to pair your Joy-Cons and start playing with a friend. Each campaign allows you and a friend to complete a few challenges together, and you’ll each get to control a team of two different heroes. After clearing a campaign, you’ll also unlock a Hard Mode difficulty for it, just in case you want to test yourself.

You’ll unlock a new co-op campaign after clearing each world, and there is a total of five campaigns to be unlocked. However, do note that there’s friendly fire in this mode, so shooting your friends may not leave you in the best position.
