How to Change Difficulty in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Recommended Videos

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle isn’t an easy game, so don’t let the cutesy aesthetic fool you. While the early game encounters are pretty simple and straightforward, it won’t be long before you start facing stronger enemies that hit like a truck, and terrifying boss fights that might wipe your team out more than once. Thankfully, if you don’t feel like you’ll be able to handle the game’s default difficulty level, you can opt for an easier setting which should make the fights a lot more manageable.

At the start of the fight, as the game pans over the map to give you an overview of what you’re up against, you can press the Y button on your Switch to change the difficulty to Easy Mode. By doing this, your enemies won’t hit as hard, and you’ll be able to take more damage and not die so quickly.

At the moment, it doesn’t seem like there are any other difficulty options outside of the default challenge and Easy Mode, so feel free to switch between the two as you see fit.

That’s all you need to know to change difficulty settings in the game. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
