How to Reach Tier 5 in Mario Kart Tour
Just like the past titles, getting a better online ranking is all about first-place finishes. While that’s still important in Mario Kart Tour, you’ll also want to make sure you’re using racers and kart parts that will yield many points.
Before you can even worry about any rankings you’ll first have to unlock the ranking system which can be done after completing the Koopa Cup in. You can find more details about that in this guide.
Once you unlock ranking, then you can finally start climbing the tiers. You’ll see 19 other players and all you need to do to climb the ladder in Mario Kart Tour is finish the week-long season with more points than anyone else.
As mentioned before, you’ll want to make sure that you get first-place finishes, use certain characters, and certain kart parts in order to maximize the number of points you earn for each race.
Since moving up tiers is all about getting more points, you’ll also want to play as often as you can. As long as you’re persistent you can find success even if you’re not the most skilled Mario Kart Tour player.
