GTA Online has been wildly popular since it launched back in 2013. Since then it has added tons of new vehicles, heists, and missions. Still certain important game mechanics remain relevant. Here’s how to get an ammo drop in GTA Online.

How to Get Ammo Drop in GTA Online

In order to get an ammo drop in GTA Online you’ll have to call Merryweather and they will drop you one for $1000. This is pretty simple to do and will help you out if you’re in a pinch.

Open up your cellphone by hitting up on the D-pad and then go to your contacts. Select Merryweather from your contact list and give them a call. You will then have the option to select “request ammo drop” which will cost you $1000.

After you select that wait a few moments and it will spawn close to your location. Head over to it and make sure you have the weapons equipped that you want the ammo for.

This will fully replenish your ammo supply and get you right back into the action. Of course you can also find ammo on dead bodies if you don’t have the cash on hand.

This is a great way to help you get out of a pinch, especially for some of the longer heists.

    Open up your cellphone by hitting up on the D-pad

  2. Call Merryweather

    Call Merryweather by going to your contacts and hitting X

  3. Select it from the menu

  4. Find the drop

    Find the drop on the map near your position to collect the ammo.
