The Great Ace Attorney games were originally released in Japan back in 2015 and 2017, and both games are finally getting a localized Switch release this year. They largely follow the same formula as previous games in the series, and they’re also extremely lengthy, which means you’ll likely need a few play sessions to see them through to their conclusions. Here’s how to save your game in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
Saving Your Game in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
First off, unlike previous games in the series, Great Ace Attorney Chronicles does feature a handy auto-save feature. Whenever a small book icon appears in the bottom right corner of the screen, that means the auto-save function has kicked in, and you’ll be able to load your game from that point on.
You can also record your progress manually at any point in the story by pressing the + button to bring up the menu. From here, simply select the Save option, then choose the file you want to record your progress in. There are a total of 20 save slots available for you to choose from, not including the auto-save function, so make sure to save regularly or as often as you want.
We recommend doing this as it is possible to get too many penalties during a trial or investigation, resulting in a game over for you. If the game ends, you’ll need to restart from the last checkpoint, wherever that may be.
It’s also worth noting that there is a chapter select function in the game. Even if you forgot to save your game at the end of a chapter, you can always start from the new chapter while browsing through the main menu.
That’s all you need to know about how to save your game in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
