Ghost Recon Wildlands: How to Skydive

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ huge map gives you the opportunity to explore a fictional version of Bolivia and take part in many activities. Skydiving is one of the activities that you can do whenever you like. There is also a trophy/achievement that unlocks after you have skydived ten times.

The first thing you have to ensure is that you have unlocked the parachute from the skills section of the Tac menu. If you don’t, you will plummet to your death when you attempt to skydive.

Once you have done that, skydiving is quite simple. First, find yourself a helicopter or plane and take it up to the skies, making sure you go as high as you can. Once you feel like you are high enough, press the exit vehicle button as you would with any other vehicle, which will see your character begin his/her descent. When you are close to the ground (not too close), press ‘A/X’ to open up the parachute and float safely to the ground. You will be able to do it whenever you like and it is a great way to see how massive and impressive the map is.

That is how you skydive in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. For more on the game, see our wiki guide.
