It is worth noting, however, that this doesn’t come without a cost. As you sprint or run faster in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you’ll deplete your stamina bar. Should you completely deplete your stamina, you’ll then be penalized by being unable to sprint or run for a short period of time while the bar recharges.

When to Sprint and Run Faster

While in combat, hold off on sprinting until you have a grasp on your surroundings. Doing so can ensure you don’t misjudge the distance from one patch of cover to the next, potentially leaving you exposed to enemy fire while your stamina recovers.

While out of combat, you should still be cautious of sprinting and running around recklessly. Doing so could alert enemies, and leave you without enough stamina to escape them should you be too careless.
