If you’re looking to continue character or weapon level progression beyond 20 then you’ll need to “Ascend” them. The process typically requires you to find several resources. In the case of both Noelle and Lisa, it’s a specific wild berry that’s rather difficult to locate. Here’s some handy information on Valberry Locations in Genshin Impact if you’re having a hard time.
Valberry Locations in Genshin Impact
First things first, for those who simply want a place to purchase Valberries without having to harvest them from around the open world, simply head to Chloris, who can be found around Windrise area in Mondstadt. She has a stock of five that refreshes each day, and they cost 1000 mora per Valberry.
Now, if you’re instead happy to go out and source Valberries for yourself, to find the elusive Valberry you’ll need to head over to the Stormbearer Mountains, which is due northeast of Mondstadt. The closest teleport point to the area, that we found yields the most, can be seen in the above picture.
From there, just head north directly up the mountain where you’ll run into a bunch of Hilichurls. Once you’ve taken them out, have a scan around; there should be plenty of patches of Valberry around this area.
In fact, we actually found one only about 20 paces north of the teleport point on one occasion.
How to Find Valberries in Genshin Impact
Once you’ve found a patch of Valberries, harvesting them is just a case of picking them up with square (PS4) or the equivalent button on your platform.
Since Valberries are only used for character ascensions, then you’ll probably only need a handful, but you might like to spend some time gathering a whole bunch since you’re there anyway. That way you won’t have to come back and repeat the process in the future.
And that’s everything you should need to know about Valberry Locations in Genshin Impact. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s wiki.
