How to Use Mila’s Turnwheel in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Although Fire Emblem Echoes is technically a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, it comes packed with some new features as well. One of those features is Mila’s Turnwheel, a mystical device that lets you turn back time during battle. It can also be used outside of battle for amiibo, and to view events of the past.

Luckily, the device is rather simple to use both in and out of battle. While on a battle map, at any time during your turn look at the bottom screen. You’ll see a small icon in the bottom right corner of the screen that looks like a small clock. Hit it, and you’ll activate Mila’s Turnwheel. From here, you can use the directional pad to move back your turn as far as you want, even to the beginning of battle if you so choose. The number on the icon dictates how many times you can use the Turnwheel during the given battle.

There is a way to boost the number of times you can use Mila’s Turnwheel, and it’s by collecting cogs hidden in the world of Fire Emblem Echoes. You’ll find these cogs on screens you can interact with in towns and castles, as well as in dungeons. Simply picking one up will add another turn onto the Turnwheel.

To use the device outside of battle, simply go to the main menu, or hit X on the world map. From there, you can select Turnwheel which will bring up options for Memory Prisms, Support Conversations, and amiibo.

That’s all there is to using Mila’s Turnwheel in Fire Emblem Echoes. For more tips and guides on Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, make sure to check back in with Twinfinite.
