How to Get the Sunstone in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Recommended Videos

The Sunstone is one of the very first key items you’ll be tasked with finding in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Vaan needs this item to power up the Crescent Stone so that he can get into the palace vaults. First, head for the Southgate in Lowtown and make your way to the Giza Plains. You’ll see an objective marker on your map, so head south to get to the Nomad Village.

Upon arriving at the Nomad Village, you’ll learn that a boy named Jinn has gone missing, and you’ll need to find him to get your Sunstone. Jinn is located in the area directly south of the village, so head in that direction. Once you find him, a cutscene will play, and you’ll be tasked with powering up the Shadestone to turn it into a Sunstone. Go to the large crystals in the Giza Plains (marked with objective markers), and interact with them to power up the Shadestone. Once the power level is at 100%, take it back to Jinn for approval. A couple of cutscenes will play before you’re able to return to Lowtown to obtain the Crescent Stone and begin your infiltration into the palace.

That’s all you need to know to get the Sunstone in Zodiac Age. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and information on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.
