Chemistry Styles have seen a slight change in FIFA 19. Rather than each one granting an overall stat boost of 90 points, it now varies depending on the Chemistry Style. All of them grant less than they did before. This means, therefore, that the go to Chemistry Styles of previous years, such as the Hunter and Shadow card, are no longer as overpowered as they were before and you may actually be able to find them on the transfer market when you want one. Whether you want to apply one of the usual favorites to a player in FIFA 19, or opt for something a little different, you’ll want to know how to. Here’s everything you need to know about how to apply Chemistry Styles in FIFA 19.

With a player in your squad highlighted, press square/X to enter the Actions menu and start to apply Chemistry Styles in FIFA 19. Then, you’ll see options to apply consumables of all types, whether they be fitness cards, training cards, or position modifiers. Sometimes, Chem Styles will appear on the ‘Recommended’ section of the Actions menu, at which point you can simply press X/A on the one you want to apply. If the Chemistry Style you’re after is not there, scroll along to the Chemistry Styles tab by pressing R1/RB. You’ll now be able to see all the Chemistry Styles in you club, and all you need to do to apply one is highlight it and press X/A. Also updated for FIFA 19 is the ability to see Chemistry Style boosts in a player’s stats by pressing R3 on a player’s card.
