How to Get Early Access in FIFA 18

Recommended Videos

As is seemingly the case with every EA Sports title this year, there are many ways to get early access to FIFA 18 in one form or another. They differ depending on which platform you are playing on but there are plenty of options.

The first option is to download the FIFA 18 demo. Admittedly, this won’t be the full game you’re after but it gives you a chance to practice and get a good feel for the gameplay.

If you want to try the full game, the best way to do so is by signing up to EA Access on Xbox One from September 21. For $5 you can play a ten hour trial of the full FIFA 18 game, as well as a host of other EA titles. This same offer is also available on PC through Origin Access.

Alternatively, PlayStation 4 owners can buy the Icon or Ronaldo edition to get three days early access. For anyone that pre-orders one of the special versions, you will be able to start playing the game on September 26. The full game releases on September 29. The same goes for Xbox One owners without EA Access or PC players. Unfortunately, there is no early access version for Nintendo Switch. Also, while the last-gen version is called the ‘Legacy Edition’, it only offers you pack rewards for Ultimate Team and no early access.

That is how you get early access to the full version of FIFA 18. For more on the game, check out our wiki.
