How to Play Co-Op Multiplayer in Far Cry 5

Sometimes, you may feel overwhelmed and undermanned in the madness of Far Cry 5’s Hope County. The solution for this, of course, is to enlist the talents of a friend, and this is made possible with Far Cry 5’s online co-op multiplayer feature. The entire campaign can be played in co-op mode, and will no doubt help to alleviate some of the pressure.

In order to access the game’s co-op multiplayer, PS4 players will need to press the touchpad to bring up the menu (Xbox One players access this menu by pressing the view button). Using R1 (RB for Xbox One), navigate through to the Online menu. There, you will find the option to Invite Friends. Select this and choose a friend, and wait for them to accept your invite. Once they have done so, you will be able to join forces. Whether you want to jump straight into Far Cry 5’s missions, or enjoy every menial activity that the open world has on offer is entirely up to you.
