Just like its predecessors, Far Cry 5 has multiple endings depending on your choices in the game. While most of the endings can be unlocked at the end of the game, players can actually finish the adventure before it even begins. As an ode to the fourth installment, players can pretty much skip to the credits with the secret ending.

It’s actually pretty simple to unlock, although it might not seem as obvious during your first playthrough. Early on in the game, you and a few other NPCs will head over to the church and arrest cult leader Joseph Seed. As the deputy, it’s your responsibility to place those cuffs on the mad man, which eventually leads to the path of bloodshed and rebellion. If you’re aiming for the secret ending, just wait and watch Joseph stick his hands out, waiting for you to take him in. There’ll be a few bits of banter among the characters before one of them decides to call it quits and scrap the arrest entirely.
