Golden Form – Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 introduces transformations for all the different races this time around. These are activated by using awoken skills just like when you trigger one of the Super Saiyan forms as a Saiyan. One of the powerful forms you can obtain is the golden form for the Frieza race. Like the name implies, your character’s skin will turn gold as you gain even more speed and power.

To unlock this awoken skill (called Turn Golden), you’ll have to complete Frieza’s questline which can be found in the Frieza’s Spaceship time rift above Conton City. Once you gain access to the ship, you will have the opportunity to join the ranks of his army. First, you’ll deal with Zarbon and his few quests. They’re simple fights but you have to wait until your summoned to the ship for each quest.

When you complete both of Zarbon’s quests you’ll then be able to take on the Ginyu Force. It’s the same deal with them until you’re able to finally work directly for Frieza. He has more quests than the other characters, and he’s a much tougher opponent. With each fight, he gets stronger and stronger until you finally unlock the opportunity to talk with Metal Cooler. He’ll have you defeat Frieza and in exchange, he’ll give you the Turn Golden awoken skill.

Now all you have to do is equip it to your character and activate it in battle (in exchange for three Ki bars). You’ll be faster, stronger, and your Ki blasts will do more damage.
