Sliding Marksman Trophy/ Achievement – Dishonored 2

Recommended Videos

Dishonored 2 has a pretty tricky list of achievements/ trophies if you’re wanting to get them all. One of the ones that may not initially seem difficult but has been causing a few players a few problems is the Sliding Marksman trophy.

Sliding Marksman’s description reads “Score a headshot while sliding,” which sounds simple enough, right? Despite countless attempts of sliding around the streets of Karnaca and headshotting enemies in the face with our guns the trophy just didn’t seem to want to pop. Instead, we opted to change from our guns to the more traditional crossbow and found that it worked first time. This is something to note if it’s not unlocking no matter how perfectly you just headshot the enemy while sliding.

The best way we found to get the trophy was to start sprinting nearby an enemy who was facing the other way. Then, hold down Circle on PS4 or B on Xbox One to begin sliding across the floor. During this, simply line your reticle up with the head of the enemy and press L1 or LB to shoot your weapon. If you’ve factored in your movement and you’re a good shot, you’ll land the hit and the enemy should fall, popping the trophy or achievement in the process.

This one can be a case of trial and error and so it’s best to try and pull it off on a secluded enemy. Then, if you fail, you won’t get swarmed and killed by any other nearby guards.
