Ornaments – Destiny: Rise of Iron

Ornaments are the new customization options introduced as part of  Destiny Year Three and Rise of Iron. You don’t actually have to seek these out, as Exotic and Legendary gear that is compatible will have the possible Ornaments listed for you to preview whenever you check out the item’s details. These additions drastically change the appearance of the weapon, offering cool skins to give you a bit more control over how your Guardian looks out in the world.

However, you can’t just pick one and go. You’ll need to obtain specific materials in order to activate one of these. In order to activate an Ornament in Destiny: Rise of Iron, you’ll need one Silver Dust and one specific Exotic Material such as:

  • Iconoclast
  • Storm’s Reproach
  • Not a Toy
  • Shock Hazard
  • Queen’s Command
  • Lingering Vestige
  • and more.

Once you have what you need, simply highlight the item you want to upgrade in your inventory and press Triangle/Y to check details. Head on over to the look of your choice and press X/A to select. See if you can unlock them all and create the most stylish Vault in the galaxy.

Now you’re fighting with style, Guardian. For more Destiny: Rise of Iron help, check out our wiki for guides and tips!
