Transversive Steps in Destiny: Rise of Iron

“In these boots, your relationship with consistent spacetime is… tenuous at best.”

This is an odd exotic that could either be fantastic or absolutely horrid, depending on the fight you’re currently in. If there are a lot of enemies and you find yourself running out of ammo fast, having these could certainly save you much needed downtime. On the flip side, the Transversive Steps may be completely negated if you rock primary weapons like the Bad Juju, who are already self reloading guns. Since Rise of Iron’s raid seems to be more combat focused, these special exotics could be well worth your time. It should be noted that the description states that it reloads any weapon instantly, not the one you have currently equipped. This could make this exotic far more viable if you are mobile and need to output a lot of DPS on various targets.

Primary Perk:

  • Strange Angles – Gain faster movement speed while crouching. Picking up ammo automatically reloads the weapon matching that ammo type.
  • Random
  • Infuse – Consume more powerful piece of  Armor to boost the Defense value  of this Armor
  • Twist of Fate – Changes the stat and upgrades available.

Astrocyte Verse in Destiny: Rise of Iron

“The ideocosm contained within this helm transforms the wearer’s head from flesh and/or exoneurons to the pure, raw stuff of thought.”

Okay, this is the evade exotic that Warlocks have been waiting for since The Taken King released back in 2015. Not only does this allow for Warlocks to blink away from engagements faster, but the boost to Blink’s recovery time will make them powerful foes to deal with. Add on the close range power of the Voidwalker’s drain abilities and this could make for a potent armor piece on the battlefield. How it performs in PvE will be more determined by how much dodging and movement is needed in the new strikes, missions, and raid. Either way, this exotic looks absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to rock it when fighting off some Devil Splicers.

Primary Perk:

  • Move to Survive – Temporary Increase to Recovery on Blink.
  • Random
  • Infuse – Consume more powerful piece of  Armor to boost the Defense value  of this Armor
  • Twist of Fate – Changes the stat and upgrades available.
