The original Deadly Premonition is something of a cult classic now, dragged down by severe technical and performance issues and filled with odd gameplay and design choices. Despite all that, though, that game was filled with charming characters and a genuinely engaging story, earning a cult following along the way. Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is a direct follow-up to that game, and puts players back in the shoes of Francis York Morgan. Here’s how to save your game in Deadly Premonition 2.
Saving Your Game in Deadly Premonition 2
Manually saving your game in Deadly Premonition 2 is a little bit old-school, as things aren’t as simple as just going into the menu and recording your progress from there. Just like the first game, you can only do that at specific points in the game.
In Deadly Premonition 2, you’ll need to look for telephones scattered around the world. Walk up to them and press the A button to interact with them, and you’ll be able to save your game in one of the available slots.
Thankfully, telephones aren’t all that hard to find. They can be located in most major buildings that you can enter in the game. In addition to that, Deadly Premonition 2 also does feature an auto-save system so you’re not entirely out of luck if you do happen to die and have restart from a checkpoint.
Whenever the game logo shows up in the bottom left of the screen, that means the auto-save system has kicked in and you’ve been checkpointed. This usually happens at major story events or when you’ve entered a new area, so you don’t have to worry too much. Still, it’s definitely better to manually record your progress whenever you find a telephone.
That’s all you need to know about how to save your game in Deadly Premonition 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
