How to Solve the Divided Valley Papyrus Puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Origins
One of the many distractions from the main story quests in Assassin’s Creed Origins are the Papyrus Puzzles. These little scripts will give you a hint of a location in the area that you’re in. Those able to solve a Papyrus Puzzle, are rewarded greatly with powerful gear or other useful items. Here’s what you need to know to find the Divided Valley Papyrus Puzzle, and the location of its hidden treasures in Assassin’s Creed Origins.
First off, you’ll want to head to Alexandria’s Great Library to find the Divided Valley Papyrus Puzzle clue. Head inside and look for a round table by the stairs in the corner. The riddle reads: “In the center of Sap-Meh you can find me hidden in a canyon near Anthylla. I’m under a tree that thinks it’s unique, but only because the nearby rock bridge is blocking it from seeing the others of its breed.”
Now that you’ve got the clue, time to find the loot. You’ll want to head to Sap-Meh Nome and open up your map. In the center of this area, you should see a river that runs by a large mountain. Directly across from the mountain, you’ll see another tiny river that feeds into this larger one. This is the Divided Valley that the Papyrus Puzzle riddle talks about. Head up this stream and follow the smaller river. Take care of the crocodiles guarding the way and look for the rock bridge. Climb up the cliff to your left and then look for the tree on its own. You’ll find the Divided Valley Papyrus Puzzle’s loot waiting for you at the foot of the tree.
