Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide (PS4, Xbox One) Oct. 4
Vermintide is a Left 4 Dead-like game that pits you and three friends against the fantasy enemies of the Warhammer universe. It’s been available on PC since last fall, but finally hits PS4 and Xbox One this October. Praised for its gameplay, progression, and visuals, console players should definitely have this on their radar.
Mafia III (PS4, Xbox One, PC) Oct. 7
Travel to New Bordeaux, Hangar 13’s take on New Orleans, and go to war with the mafia. Players control Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War vet who was a member of the black mob, a crime family that was gunned down by the Italian mafia. It’s now time to fight back and take control of the city, even if it means some blood must be shed along the way.

Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) – Oct. 11
Rise of the Tomb Raider was a stellar game on both the Xbox One and PC. PS4 fans finally get to jump in on the action complete with all of the expansions and some bonus anniversary content.

Gears of War 4 (Xbox One) – Oct. 11

Dragon Quest Builders (PS4, Vita) Oct. 11
Take the engaging world-building of Minecraft, mix that up with some stellar Dragon Quest RPG storytelling, and you get a fun adventure full of gorgeous colors and adorable characters in Dragon Quest Builders. The world of Alefgard needs to be rebuilt, and it’s up to you to do so.
Shadow Warrior 2 (PC) Oct. 13
The first Shadow Warrior was an intense adventure that took you on a wild ride which included demons, samurai swords, a man-cave that would make Batman blush, and tons of dismemberment. Shadow Warrior 2 takes all of that and turns the dial up to 11 to provide even more of the hectic action fans have come to love.
Skylanders Imaginators (PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3, 360) Oct. 16
The Skylanders series is just pure fun. This time around, players will be able to create their own heroes by mixing and matching parts and abilities. Plus, Crash Bandicoot is joining in on the fun so you can expect some really exciting action.
Battlefield 1 (PS4, Xbox One) Oct. 18
DICE is taking it back to basics by bringing their popular Battlefield series back to World War I. There’s no gadgets, no gimmicks, just your wits and your weapon to keep you alive in one of the worst wars to ever be fought.
Civilization VI – PC (Oct. 21)
Think you have what it takes to rule the world? Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS4, Xbox One) Oct. 25 (PC on the 28th)
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 returns with more time-travelling troubles, as another evil tries to change the Dragon Ball history and eliminate the Z-fighters. You’ll once again be able to create your very own hero as you explore even more iconic locations and destroy cities with all out battle.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk (PS4, PS3, Vita) Oct. 27
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk will put players in control of Guts and several other characters from the popular manga and anime. If you’re into Dynasty Warriors-styled games but want a bit more gore, then look no further. Take full advantage of each characters’ violent abilities and wage war against thousands of demonic enemies.
Titanfall 2 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) Oct. 28
The first Titanfall was one of the most impressive early games on the Xbox One. The sequel will release on the PS4 as well, and will also introduce a real campaign for you to run through solo. Prepare for Titanfall at the end of October 2016.
Skyrim Special Edition (PS4, Xbox One) Oct. 28
If you’ve been looking for a reason to jump back into the lands of Skyrim, look no further. Players will get to explore a fully remastered world so they can retrace their steps in all of their favorite quests. Even better, fans on Xbox One will be able to utilize mods to further enhance their experiences.
