It's nice to see Takeo's crush, Yamato, fall in love with him instead of much more handsome-looking guy, proving to audiences that beauty is most definitely in the eyes of the beholder.

Haruhi and Tamaki's relationship is filled with tons of differences and misunderstandings. Tamaki is convinced that he can never fall in love while Haruhi thinks the boy as nothing more than an idiot. When the two finally realize that they do actually love each other, it becomes very clear that each person balances out the other perfectly.
Tomoya and Nagisa - Clannad
Tomoya and Nagisa are not the best human beings in the world. Tomoya is a delinquent barely getting by in school, with no aspirations in his life. Nagisa is an air-head who can't seem to focus on anything. By the end of Clannad, however, viewers will discover that Tomoya and Nagisa have so much more than any of us could ever dream of. It's sad, beautiful, and gives meaning to what life is all about.

He also gives the young man a shoulder to lean onto when the going gets tough, teaching him that the road to success is hardly ever paved smoothly.
