XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES DECEMBER 2017
(Week One: Dec. 3 – Dec. 9)
As the holiday season rocks up, the number of games hitting the Xbox One slows down even more. In its first week, we’ve got a handful of releases (if we include some new DLC), but there are no massive blockbuster titles to get excited about.
Instead, those who enjoyed the sci-fi shooting to be had in Destiny 2 may be interested in the Curse of Osiris expansion. Adding in new story missions, weapons, Crucible maps, raid content, and more, Guardians will have plenty of reasons to continue grinding their light level this December.
Elsewhere, 2016’s snowsports title, Steep, gets its Road to the Olympics expansion. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection packs all 19 existing episodes, including the anthology 400 Days and three-part Michonne mini-series, into one, graphically remastered package.
You can check out the full list of Xbox One releases for the first week of December below.

XBOX ONE VIDEO GAME RELEASES DECEMBER 2017
(Week Two: Dec. 10 – Dec. 16)
December’s second week is just as quiet as its first, with only four releases once again. Fortunately, there’s a good bit of variety and a particularly popular multiplayer title in this second batch of Xbox One releases in December. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will finally make its way to the Xbox One on Dec. 12 after taking the PC gaming population by storm earlier this year. It’s worth noting, however, that just like on PC, PUBG will be in the Preview Program for the time being. This means that the game isn’t currently in its final form, but you’ll get to play it and enjoy the updates as they come.
On the same day, Okami will bring its watercolored beauty to the Xbox One over 11 years since it originally released. Players take control of Amaterasu as they guide the Shinto sun goddess through all manner of levels in order to save the land from darkness. Having received some serious acclaim from both critics and players alike, if you haven’t checked this one out before, it’s well worth a purchase during this quiet festive month.
You can check out all of December’s remaining Xbox One releases below.
- Dec. 12 – Okami HD
- Dec. 12 – Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition
- Dec. 12 – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (Xbox Preview)
