Every E3 2017 Game Confirmed for a 2017 Release

A packed year.
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

The seventh entry in the main Forza series was one of the least surprising reveals of E3 2017. Racing games are excellent for showing off the graphical strength of consoles and Microsoft used Forza Motorsport 7 to do so for the Xbox One X. It looks stunning as always and will release on October 3.

Ubisoft decided to take a year off from Assassin’s Creed to refresh the series and come back with a strong new entry. With Origins, they are taking Assassin’s Creed back to its roots with an Ancient Egyptian setting. It certainly looks different to what we are used to from the series. Assassin’s Creed will return on October 27.

We saw more of Shadow of War at Microsoft’s conference and it clearly builds on what Shadow of Mordor did so well. It has recently been delayed so will be available on October 10.

Naughty Dog’s next Uncharted title will follow Nadine and Chloe instead of the usual characters. Initially intended as DLC for A Thief’s End, The Lost Legacy will release as a standalone title on August 22.

We’ve been hearing about the Final Fantasy XV PSVR add-on for a while but we finally saw what it was all about at e3 this week. It looks very different to what we originally saw and seems to be very fishing focused. It will finally be available this September.

The Knack 2 release date reveal was snuck out during the pre-show of the Sony E3 conference. The sequel to the cute but criticised platformer was initially revealed at E3 2016 and we now know that it will be playable from September 5.

One of the game’s releasing this year from Housemarque, the developer of Resogun, got a release date at the pre-show of Sony’s E3 press conference. Matterfall will be available on August 15 while Nex Machina will be available on June 20.

The final EA Sports game of E3 2017 is NBA Live 18. The new mode, called The One, will see you split time between the streets and the court, each being important to the development of your character. The full game will release in August.
