The King of Iron Fist Tournament returned once again in June 2017 with the release of Tekken 7. While the tournament had its place in the game, the bulk of the story focuses on the Mishima family feud and the devil gene that is at work within them. With an enjoyable story mode, character stories to complete, and a number of online modes to jump into, Tekken 7 is a comprehensive package for fans of the series. And what’s more, it’s got a pretty easy achievement list to boot.

Tekken 7 has 43 achievements totaling 1000 Gamerscore on Xbox One. While that may sound like quite a lengthy list, the good news is that a lot of these will naturally unlock as you play through the game’s selection of offline game modes. To make things even easier, a number of the tougher sounding achievements can be cheesed by simply jumping into the game’s Practice mode. Add in the fact that we’ve got a comprehensive achievements guide for Tekken 7, too, and you should be able to coast your way to the full 1000 Gamerscore in no time at all.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Episode 2

Guardians of the Galaxy episode two

Another game from the developer who makes your achievement-hunting lives a heck of a lot easier released in June. At least, an episode of it did anyway. Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy series returned in June 2017 with episode two which focused a little more on the smart-talking Rocket Raccoon than the rest of the guardians.

As is the case with all Telltale games nowadays, Guardians of the Galaxy’s second episode simply requires you to complete all six of its chapters in order to clear its achievements list. The episode takes roughly two hours to complete, and you’ll be 200 Gamerscore richer by the end of it, too. Oh Telltale, you treat us so well.

The Town of Light

the town of light

The Town of Light may not have wowed us when we reviewed it upon release, but that doesn’t mean achievement hunters have no reason to pick the title up. Players embark on a psychological first-person adventure in a real-life creepy place in Italy that has actually been reconstructed. You’ll uncover more of the story as you progress, with decisions you make along the way unlocking different paths to the game’s ending.

As you may have guessed, then, a number of The Town of Light’s 20 achievements revolve around you unlocking and playing through these different paths. While that may sound like you’d have to go through multiple playthroughs, the game’s chapter select negates the need to sit through the story over and over again. Plus, with the experience being fairly short and none of the achievements really requiring you to do anything remotely challenging (other than grabbing a few collectibles), the full 1000 Gamerscore can be grabbed in about five hours.

However, if you want to cut that time down even further, there are a number of guides available online to help you blitz The Town of Light’s achievement list in as little as two hours. Settle down with this and Guardians of the Galaxy episode two one evening and you could be 1200 Gamerscore richer after four hours.

Cars 3: Driven to Win

cars 3

From the studio that brought us the toys-to-life Disney Infinity series comes this latest movie tie-in. Cars 3: Driven to Win picks up where the Cars 3 movie ends. It has a bunch of customizable cars and unique tracks from the movie that fans are sure to appreciate.

As is expected with a kids movie tie-in, Cars 3 is a relatively easy experience, especially when you drop the difficulty right down. Many of the achievements will be unlocked as you play through the game with the exception of those relating to the game’s challenges. Even though these are the trickiest achievements on the list, they’re not going to have you stumped for hours. You can expect to have all 21 of Cars 3’s achievements dusted off in about 15 hours.
