Elder Scrolls Online – Midyear Mayhem

Recommended Videos

Every year, the Imperial Priests of St. Alessia commemorate the Whitestrake’s slaughter of elves at the Bridge of Heldon, and this event is held during the summer. It’s a pretty gnarly history, which explains why Elder Scrolls Online’s summer-themed event is centered around PVP.

By participating in the event, ESO players will be able to obtain unique rewards like the Laurel Wreath hat, double Alliance points, PVP equipment, and rare crafting items that can be put to good use. All these bonuses are available in the game’s PVP modes, and players will even be able to earn Midyear Boon Boxes, all of which contain even more unique loot and rare items you’d have a hard time finding elsewhere.

Elder Scrolls Online’s Midyear Mayhem summer event runs from July 20 to July 31.

Heroes of the Storm – Tychus Findlay’s Bust Your %&# Workout

Blizzard might not have officially announced the return of the Summer Games to Overwatch just yet, but Heroes of the Storm is definitely getting into the sunny mode. Tychus Findlay’s Bust Your %&# Workout is the hottest (literally) thing going on in the Nexus right now, and all the heroes are in on it.

The event comes packed with a new brawl called Pull Party, where you can hook both allies and enemies towards you. The first team to get to 20 kills will win the match. As expected, the event also has various rewards for players as well. Players will have the chance to unlock new legendary mounts, epic skins, and other customization items like portraits and sprays. They’re all looking lovely, and they’re perfect for anyone looking for that summer beach vibe in their games this year.

Tychus Findlay’s Bust Your %&# Workout will run till July 24.

Black Desert Online – Terrmian Waterpark

Summer’s hot, so Black Desert Online’s helping players to alleviate the heat by introducing the Terrmian Waterpark event. The Waterpark itself canbe found on the beach in Olvia, and everyone can accept quests from there, regardless of player level. These quests will reward players with food, memory fragments, and other cosmetic items. There are daily quests available at the Waterpark, and you can earn Terrmian coins and and seals, which can in turn be used to exchange for other rare goodies.

The Terrmian Waterpark event runs from July 12 to August 30.

World of Warcraft – Midsummer Fire Festival

Unfortunately, if you missed it, World of Warcraft’s annual Midsummer Fire Festival is already over. This summer-themed event saw bonfires lit all over Azeroth, and players were able to head to each one to decorate them (or vandalize them, if that’s more your style).

Players were able to throw flaming torches around, fight elemental spirits, and for those who were brave enough, there was also an elemental boss available to fight in the Slave Pens. And of course, there were new achievements to earn, along with other rare rewards that came along with it.

World of Warcraft’s Midsummer Fire Festival ran from June 21 to July 5.

Call of Duty – Days of Summer

The Call of Duty series has a huge Days of Summer event, and players can enjoy some new content in Infinite Warfare, Black Ops III, and Modern Warfare Remastered. Infinite Warfare players will be able to get a free Supply Drop every week, along with new items from the summer collection. The game also has new unlockable characters that can be used in the online multiplayer.

Modern Warfare Remastered players can also obtain a free Supply Drop each week, and undertake the new Operation Copperhead at the Depot. Lastly, Black Ops III is introducing summer-themed loot items, and players will also have the chance to to play all four maps from the Awakening DLC for free. And of course, double XP for all.

Days of Summer has started for all three games, and will run till August 1.
