Since it’s not entirely clear from the get-go what that mysterious cup is in Cup Battles mode, just jump into any of the tournaments available from the start. Things can be a bit tough at first, but unlocking the Championship Cup should be a breeze once you get a handle of the controls.

The difficulty might increase with each successive cup. Yet, none of the teams in these tournaments put up much of a fight. All you need to do is play the possession game, make good passes, and take shots when you get the opportunity. Basically, take your time and don’t make costly mistakes to get some easy wins. After no time at all, every cup will be finished.

And that’s pretty convenient because beating every cup is the only method for unlocking the Championship Cup. This final tournament isn’t much of a challenge either. The most difficult parts of the game don’t show up until you unlock Galactic Mode. But that’s a guide for another time.

That’s all there is to know about how to unlock the Championship Cup in Mario Strikers: Battle League.
