The Medium is the first of Microsoft’s 2021 exclusives coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players will assume control of a medium as they explore a former communist holiday resort, to uncover the dark mysteries and secrets that it hides. Using your powers, you’ll flip between the real and spirit worlds, and will even navigate your way through both worlds at once. With this never-before-seen mechanic, some players may be expecting the game to take up a fair amount of space on their console or PC’s storage. In this guide, we’ll run you through The Medium’s download and install size on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The Medium Install Size on Xbox Series X|S and PC
- Xbox Series X|S: 23.07 GB
- PC: 24.47 GB
From the current download size of The Medium — which can be preloaded now on both platforms — it looks like it won’t be taking up a ton of space, regardless of its dual-world rendering.
What remains to be seen is whether or not a day-0 or day-one patch for the game will bolster the install size further. If this is the case, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know as soon as it happens.
If you’re looking forward to Bloober Team’s latest spooky adventure, you’ll be pleased to know that you can begin preloading the game right now ahead of its Jan. 28 release date. This is handy for those who might not have the fastest internet connection and need a little longer to get The Medium’s download size installed.
This means that you’ll be able to begin playing as soon as the clock strikes midnight, the perfect time to be scared out of your skin by the various spirits and otherworldly creatures you’re sure to encounter.
