Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest entry in Ubisoft’s open-world, action-RPG series, this time putting players in the shoes of Eivor, a Viking warrior. Between the various quests you take on to advance Eivor’s story as they play their part in the Viking invasion of Britain in the 9th century, the game will play several cutscenes to help drive the story forward. If you just want to get straight back into the gameplay, you’re probably wondering how to skip cutscenes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How to Skip Cutscenes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
To skip cutscenes, simply press Circle on PS4, or B on Xbox One.
Pressing this once will cause the cutscene to skip to the next line of dialogue. This can be handy if you’ve got the subtitles on and have already read what’s about to be said.
If you’re looking to just skip a cutscene in its entirety, it doesn’t seem as though you can. Your best alternative is to just mash Circle or B through the cutscene to essentially fast-forward through it.
That being said, we’d advise you to watch all of the cutscenes on your first playthrough. These are where you’ll get the bulk of Valhalla’s story, and without watching them, you won’t really know why you’re doing the objectives each mission tasks you with.
Of course, the decision is ultimately up to you, but at least you now know how to skip cutscenes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla if you ever feel the need to.
